When the Grizzlies moved to Memphis in 2001, the Raptors became the only Canadian team in the NBA... which later led to the teams slogan “WE THE NORTH”.
Raptors have featured a range of well known players including Damon Stoudamire, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, Chris Bosh, Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozen and Kawhi Leonard.
The Raptors won their first NBA championship in 2018/2019 by defeating the Golden State Warriors in six games.
